Shared from a post on our Facebook page last Fall, we felt this was a timely reminder as we near the season when riders embark on their first ride of the year once again:
“We’ve been swamped with insurance jobs lately, which isn’t unusual as we often see a sharp increase in claims this time of year. Both deer and reduced visibility during peak riding times due to shorter daylight hours are often contributing factors.
Regardless of the cause, Dain often quietly makes a memento for the bike’s owner, often in the form of a little key-chain from a broken part, such as the ball from a broken clutch lever. This sends the rider a gentle, but powerful message: “Move past the accident, but don’t soon forget it.’“
